| John Matthews' overall interpretation of the Taliesin tradition doesn't quite meet with mine, however this is one of the few good books available that examines one of the most valuable sources of Arthurian material. John and his wife Caitlin have put major effort into their research and translations. An excellent source for important poems such as Priddeu Annwn and The Death Song of Uther Pendragon. |

|
| TITLE: The Song of Taliesin AUTHOR: John Matthews PUBLISHER: Quest Books ISBN 0835608026 |
Another
very useful collection of Taliesin material from John Matthews. A delightful
mixture of stories including Culhwch's Day, The Battle of
the Trees and The Hunting of Hen Wen, with interspersed poetry,
The Raid on Annwn in particular - More essential reading for
the Taliesin and Arthurian enthusiast.
