Clan Arthur Seannachie

Dear Clanfolk and Friends

It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that our Clan Seannachie, Robert David McArthur FSA Scot, died very peacefully in Perth Royal Infirmary during the evening of Tuesday 5th December 2006. Beryl, his wife was with him at the bedside. A short service has been arranged for 11:30am on Wednesday 13th December at Scone Old Parish Church, Burnside, New Scone to which all family, Clan members and friends are respectfully invited. Robert was a great character and major driving force behind the establishment of our Clan Society. His presence, knowledge and wit shall be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Please send any messages that you may wish me to pass on to the family to the email link below. The family have requested no flowers. Donations for Cancer Research UK shall be accepted at the church.

Words from the Chief

In 2003, I made a promise to publish a collection of the late Chief of Clan Arthur's essays in an illustrated booklet titled Words from the Chief. At long last the project is complete, the finished books have been printed and over 100 copies have been distributed. We're happy with the result and judging from comments received, the Clan is pleased too. Order your own copy from the following link:
